Among them, 3 have got doctoral degree, 16 have got bachelors degree, 127 are undergraduates, 99 have got college diplomas, 132 graduated from polytechnic school. The hospital set up 28 clinical and technical offices. It managed 400 hospital beds, and the authorized beds are 342. The average outpatients reach 155937 each year. Shan Dong Province Engineering Technological Research Center for Prevention and Treatment of Thrombotic Diseases is a provincial research organization approved by Shan Dong Province Science and Technology Bureau. She mainly concentrates on not only studying in the diagnoisis, treatment and prevention of thrombi diseases, but also researching ,producing and selling diagnosis kits and drugs for thrombotic diseases . In the past nine years, it has gained brilliant achievements in the treatment and prevention of thrombi diseases . Trombotic Risk Computer Diagnotic System won the national invention award and the gold medal in China Youth Science and Technology Fair. Since 1994, the center has finished a series of research tasks such as Research to manufacture of gene recombination thrombolytic medicine., Which is part of the National 863 Project. Experimental embolic stoke model of pig was established firstly at home and abroad, which was used to observed in the pharmacodynamics of recombinant streptokinase (r-SK) and recombinant stapphynokinase (r-SaK).The center has gained 10 international and internal lead research achievements. More than 30 thesises were published in academic publications at home and abroad. More than 10,000 thrombus patients were given correct diagnosis and gotten efficient treatment. The center emphasized both on clinical treatment and medical research. The Center of Endoscopic Surgery first cured extrahepatic duct gallstone with EPT in the province in 1991. It has given more than 2800 patients ERCP and has operated on 1500 gallstone patients with EPT. The success rate of ERCP is 99.7% , and EPT is 100%. It has relieved the sufferings of more than 100 patients having stenosis and obstruction in biliary duct with the standing of expandable metai stents. The center combined fiber biliary endoscope with Electrohydraulic lithotripsy(EHL) to treat intrhepic huge gallstone. The success rate is more than 97%. In Dec 1992, three kinds of techniques including ERCP ,EPT and M-B SCOPY was inspected and determined by the domestic specialists. ERCP and EPT were determined to be a prior position in shandong province , further, they have arrived at domertic advanced criterion. M-B scopy was thought to be a prior position within our country and arrive at international advanced criterion. The center gained 2 provincial advance awards. Neuro-rehabilitation Center, set up in 1998 by our hospital and China rehabilitation Research Center is the first nerve recovery center in the province to cure hemiplegia, paraplegia and brain paralysis.
